Picture Wala is an entertainment club for street kids in India; using cinema, art, music, comedy etc. as a medium to engage, entertain and inspire.

At Anamcaara, our main aim and mission was to build a self sustaining socio-eco system that contributes to the prosperity of local communities through our sustainable business ventures. The key projects I helped develop were FarmLove and the Anamcaara Hospitality Hub. FarmLove was an award-winning sustainable farming venture that successfully set up a farm-to-consumer supply chain that empowered farmers in Mewat, Haryana to grow & sell produce, sans chemicals. Our model established fair trade prices for our farmer communities and eliminated the notorious middle man agent. The Hospitality Hub was planned to counter the traditional model and mindset of the existing hospitality industry by creating a niche product and experience for the globally aware and socially conscious citizen.

I owe a significant chunk of my work ethic, discipline, problem-solving, analytical bent of mind and ability to multitask to my learnings at Ernst & Young, London. I can think of no better learning ground & career launcher for a young graduate setting foot into the world of Management Consultancy. I was mentored and trained by some of the finest minds and maestros in Consulting & Change Management at EY. I worked on a number of projects in cross-ranging sectors like health, energy, tele-healthcare, technology and power & utilities. My core competency leaned towards projects that specialised in change management, developing the organisation's operating model and detailed organisation design, designing a robust engagement and communications plan for complex and large scale organisations across Europe. Some of the projects I worked on included National Health Services (NHS), Eurostar, Sony, National Grid etc.
