Working on Instagram for Android, on a core team of 4 engineers including myself and my manager/tech lead, within a larger team of 35 employees.Notable projects:- Made the photos pipeline a lot more efficient on graphics memory- Implemented a high quality image processing algorithm in OpenGL ES and integrated it into the rendering pipeline- Devised and implemented algorithm to minimize overlap for photo tags- Implemented filtering and rendering pipelines for video on Instagram (Android 4.0+)- Tested and fixed device-specific bugs on dozens of android phones and tablets.

I am researching methods to represent Learning by Demonstration in a Socially Intelligent Robot called SIMON. The project involves trying to dynamically figure out the important features in a problem, and correctly manipulating the space to reach a desirable/the goal state. Developper on the Chrome OS team.I worked with issues on Chrome OS audio, and update the build system to integrate the newest sources of ALSA. I also helped come up with the idea of a new audio daemon.

Representing Structure and Behavior (CS 1316) --Some of my responsibilities for being a TA for this CS course included conducting a weekly 1.5 hour recitation where the lecture material would be explained in more detail, and individual questions could be addressed, holding office hours for individual student doubts and problems, grading homework assignments and tests, and proctoring the tests.
