As a wide-eyed teenager of 15 years, my goals were bold, diverse yet not dissimilar - to make art, to take up challenges, and to make a difference. The byproduct of those rambunctious goals was my first poetry collection, debuted when I was 16, followed by my earnest attempt to tackle CA. With lots of support, perseverance, sacrifices and a fair share of struggles, I was able to clear my CA in the first attempt scoring 2 All India Ranks and more importantly, a lifetime supply of unteachable lessons. The course and the articleship period changed and challenged me as a professional and a person and made me every bit the woman I am today. Having had the opportunity to take on a wide variety of projects from audits to ICAAP preparation, the 3 years made me a better team worker, better leader and better all-around professional. During my articleship, I discovered my aptitude for and interest in Risk Management in the BFSI sector and I hope to start my professional career therein.Having completed my CA, I am currently pursing MA in Economics as the field is very near and dear to me and what I eventually hope to transition to - in order to do my part in making a difference. I also continue to write and my other ambition is to continue publishing my poetry and engaging with the artistic communities across the world.
