Researching the international migration and transnational experiences of Indian women. My research aims to study the migration ecosystem in India, women's everyday lived experiences as international migrants and their contestations with notions of identity and belonging. I was awarded the NUS Research Scholarship (2018-2022) and the Dean's PhD Fellowship (2022-2023).- Teaching Assistant for the South Asian Studies Programme. Awarded the Graduate Students’ Teaching Award (April 2020 and November 2020).- Research Assistant for the Journal of Southeast Asia (May-August 2020) and for a project on mobilities across the Bay of Bengal.- Undertaken journal and book publications alongside conference presentations (Asia Research Institute, forthcoming in 2022; GRFDT 2020 and ICTD 2020) on topics pertinent to my research.

- Supported the ‘REBUILD: COVID-19 and Women in the Informal Economy’ project through literature reviews and analysis of primary qualitative data to study the impact of the pandemic and lockdown on women street vendors and domestic workers in New Delhi. - Co-authored the final dissemination report, with specific focus on informality and gendered structuring of the Indian economy, economic vulnerabilities and mental health impacts caused by the pandemic, coping strategies of interlocutors and programmatic and policy recommendations.

Worked on a collaborative project titled, “Microsoft-Aapti Future of Work Collaboration” to understand the experiences of gig/platform workers in India. As the lead researcher, designed the study, conducted research, undertook data analysis and presented findings through seminars and publications.- Interviewed over 40 workers across platforms and identified collaborative opportunities with academics, platforms and researchers.- Presented research findings at a workshop at the Microsoft Research office which was attended by 20+ stakeholders. I also organised and conducted an immersive session with workshop participants.- Undertook collaborative writing of a comprehensive report on the experiences of workers on the platform/gig economy and wrote articles for Aapti Institute's Medium page.- Presented findings at the International Conference of Information and Communication Technologies on Development 2020 and published a paper as part of the conference's proceedings.

Worked with the Sustainable, Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) department to prepare a Frequently Asked Questions brief for use in SCORE trainings on the Sexual Harassment at the Workplace Act and Rules.Undertook meetings and interactions with various organisations and individuals to understand the provisions of the Act.
