In my role, I am taking care of the first mile and last mile activities of the service center across seven locations. My responsibilities encompassed managing manpower, aligning vehicles, designing efficient routes, ensuring productivity, and enforcing company SOPs. I assumed a leadership role in orchestrating operational services for potential corporate clients within a designated geographical region. Additionally, I took charge of the entire pick-up and delivery process from the initial contact point, collaborating closely with the sales and client services teams.I successfully recruited, trained, and led the pick-up and delivery staff, providing them with the necessary tools and strategic guidance for efficient logistics and courier operations. A key aspect of my role involved daily briefings to the operational manager, facilitating seamless coordination between offices to address queries and meet requirements. I played a pivotal role in establishing hub connections for domestic, surface, air, and international shipments. Furthermore, I took charge of daily report generation and played an active role in implementing new processes and procedures.

Process Implementation: Assist in developing additional capacity planning and training programs. Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve process challenges. Ensure adherence to SOP and best practices.Feedback & Coaching: Conduct daily reviews on performance and compliance metrics. Foster a performance-oriented work environment. Appreciate good efforts and conduct one-on-one discussions for TL/ATL performance improvement.Continuous Improvement: Engage the team in idea generation and 5S implementation. Set short-term and long-term performance targets. Create action plans for deviations. Maintain a clean work environment and communicate regularly with the team.Analytics and Administration: Provide data insights to the team. Monitor equipment renewals in IT, Non-IT, and infrastructure.Cost Management: Monitor resource use, including equipment, supplies, leave administration, and vehicle capacity. Keep management informed of potential cost-saving opportunities.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build professional relationships and hold regular feedback discussions with HR, Capacity team, Fleet, and Security team.Problem-Solving: Evaluate day-to-day operational non-compliances. Perform root cause analysis with immediate corrective action. Create long-term preventive measures. Address concerns on the ground and escalate unresolved problems to Senior Management for resolution.

In charge of overseeing end-to-end logistics operations for both inbound and outbound shipments at the Distribution Center. Adheres to established procedures, plans efficient routes, and optimizes vehicle deployment for resource maximization. Ensures thorough quality checks on all shipments, minimizing discrepancies in both value and quantity. Manages the Field Executives' duty roster, handling pickups, NDC calling, and reverse logistics. Effectively leads the team, addressing queries related to attendance and fuel. Provides timely feedback and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives for employee, team, and operational targets. Maintains a secure and safe work environment, supporting the Manager through analytical and administrative tasks. Contributes to departmental cost controls and cultivates a network of contacts within Delhivery to facilitate problem resolution and goal achievement.
