I am studying for the second year of my Bachelor of Health Science on the Gold Coast campus at Griffith University. One of my career goals is to become an Oral Health Therapist since I have worked as a dental nurse for seven years. I assist dentists and delicate patient care, especially for patients with medical conditions and special needs. In the meantime, I help to manage my husband's restaurant for administration. That engages me to develop another interest in becoming a dietician who can provide nutrition information and advice to patients to improve their health.The above experiences enhanced my skills that could continuously be beneficial to my new employment: - Dedicated patient care I am required to have strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail for both jobs. As a dental nurse, assist the dentist while monitoring patients with medical conditions and anxiety on the dental chair. Ensure the dentist can provide treatment smoothly and a patient can enjoy their dental visit. - Working in a diverse environment Working at the restaurant, I have seen people from different cultures and backgrounds play an essential role in their diet and reflect on the different dietary requirements.- Dealing with conflicts From the management point of view, when conflicts occur at the workplace, which needs to be well dressed up and developed a plan to work on each one. A clear plan took place in response to the different unexcepted situations. Efficient communication is the best way to build a solid and healthy relationship.
