eKasi Fibre is a groundbreaking start-up that supplies fibre internet connectivity to previously disadvantaged areas in South Africa. As marketing manager, I liaise with our clients on the ground, ensure their satisfaction with the product, assist with the sales process and manage the ground team to ensure smooth operations. In a short period of time, I have learnt about fibre optics, FTTH and the fibre optics environment in South Africa. eKasi Fibre also has a strong CSR model, which I am passionate about. Our programmes aim to uplift the youth in previously disadvantaged areas by supplying them with employment opportunities and free internet connectivity in community centres and places of education.
