Objective of research work was to study the investor’s perception about the mutual fund and other leading mutual fund companies available in India - 8 weeks.Determine the level of people’s understanding about financial instruments. Find current investment patterns of local investors.Future target population of mutual fund companies. As part of this research, for data collection I used various techniques like Observation Method, Interview Method, Questionnaire, Distributor Audits, Consumer Panels, and Depth Interview etc.Collection of secondary data was done using publications of central, state and local government, trade journals, magazine reports etc.Collected data was then analyzed using various techniques and results were published and presented to Axis bank senior management.
