Managing own environmental consultancy. Previously worked for AECOM Arabia, with responsibility for all environmental issues in KSA and specifically those associated with the development of the Jazan Economic City (JEC) and with Jeddah Metro. Experienced in managing several EIAs including the ESIA for the revised Master Plan for JEC, and the State of the Environment report for all Jeddah. Also highly experienced in Air Quality and developed cost effective, practical measures for dust mitigation at Jazan Economic City. Managed extensive ambient air quality monitoring programs. Was also AECOM’s resident expert on the Jeddah Metro Project and am responsible for reviewing third party environmental and sustainability reports on all aspects of this project. This is to ensure that the project is designed with minimal environmental impact and that the design fulfils FIDIC’s and LEED’s requirements for sustainability.

Was the Senior Project Manager - Environment with responsibilities for all environmental issues in Kingdom and specifically those associated with the development of the Jazan Economic City (JEC). My role included managing several EIAs including the ESIA for the revised Master Plan for JEC (an 108 km2 Industrial City being developed by Saudi Aramco); this included the management of a program of detailed baseline monitoring of air, noise, groundwater, marine habitat and sweater and marine sediments as well as detailed air dispersion modelling, coastal processes and sediment transportation. Additionally, I was leading the development of cost effective, practical measures for dust mitigation at JEC. Prior to this role, I was AECOM’s resident expert on the Jeddah Metro Project responsible for reviewing third party environmental and sustainability reports on all aspects of this project. This was to ensure that the project was designed with minimal environmental impact and that the design fulfils FIDIC’s and LEED’s requirements for sustainability.

Founder / Director of a multi-disciplinary consultancy in environmental management and auditing , EIA’s as well as offering specialist services in air quality (including ambient air monitoring and dispersion modeling), noise monitoring, environmental fluid mechanics including wind environment (microclimate assessments). BSI trained ISO 14001 lead Auditor.
