I have always valued service. From four years in the military, participating in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom as a logistician, and subsequently graduating from law school, I continue to serve others as a Commissioned Examiner with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). As a Commissioned Examiner at the CFPB and an adviser on the National Fair Lending Examination Team, I have served on some of the most complex examinations and institutional product lines while also serving as a technical expert for Fair Lending matters. With ten years experience in completing examination and monitoring work, I am well-versed in the review of various product lines, audit reports, information technology programs, training programs, and other key areas that allow me to assess institutional risks. I am also passionate about mentoring others and sharing technical knowledge and experience. It is for that reason I created the first draft of the Northeast ambassador program for new examiners and participated on the mentoring working group. This led to the ambassador program rollout in the region and subsequent creation of a Bureau-wide mentoring program. I also continue to leverage my knowledge and experience in other areas of the CFPB. As a Detailee with the Office of Supervision Examinations, I helped to stand up the Project Management Office (PMO) and created the PMO implementation plan, marketing plan, charter, and introduced Tableau as a project management tool. I continue to learn and develop. I am actively pursuing industry certifications in Fintech and consumer financial services. In addition, I graduated the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking (UPENN-Wharton) in 2023.
