As an HR Generalist at Orbit, a global leader in water conservation and irrigation products, I leverage my passion for helping people and my skills and education in HR to support every company’s greatest asset: its workforce. I am passionate about empowering employees to build their capabilities, helping them reach their full potential, and creating environments in which they can thrive. I also earned a Master of Human Resources degree at Utah State University, where I learned the best practices and latest trends in the profession.With my experience and education in Human Resources, I have developed a strong understanding of strategic HR as well as a foundation in talent management and recruiting, training and development, employee relations, benefit administration, employment law, and HRIS maintenance, with entry-level proficiency in payroll, compensation, and leave administration. I am a fast learner and a hard worker (less than two years after entering the HR field, I showed enough proficiency and knowledge to earn my SHRM-SCP certification and my Masters degree in HR with a 4.0 GPA), I am bilingual (English and Spanish), organized, detail-oriented, and diligent and thorough in everything I do.
