I have a passion for live events and storytelling that unite people through music. At its heart, all of my work is about enabling musicians, artists and creatives to create the best work they possibly can. My focus is on creating connections for that work with audiences, whether that is ensuring a safe and high quality live experience, planning an effective marketing and communications strategy, or the creation of media and storytelling content.I have experience of working on a wide range of festivals, broadcasts and creative projects, from high profile events such as televised BBC Proms concerts with the BBC Philharmonic and Yoko Ono’s opener for Manchester International Festival, to grassroots projects like Sounds From The Other City festival and Fat Out Fest.In 2022 I founded From The Other with three freelance colleagues - the ambitions for our new company were forged in that ability to connect grassroots and large-scale organisations and we work to a model of collaborative working across all areas of the creative industries.Our aims are to platform underrepresented artists through our festivals, collaborations and residencies.
