With the introduction of the New Credit Act (2007) new legislation was passed; this required that as regional sales manager I wrote and passed the National Credit Act exams – becoming an accredited financial representative entitling me to sign up clients on behalf of all the financing institutions.Together we developed relationships with a wide variety of corporate clients such as Nando’s, Black Steer, Lancet, Office National, ITEC Group, Ampath, Questmed as well as numerous pharmacies, travel agents etc. We liaised with the various forms of media from television, radio and print. My job involved the close monitoring of all office automation and the respective consumables within ICL South Africa. Continuous onsite training of ICL staff was necessary to ensure all equipment was used effectively in all divisions of the company. Alistair Mackie administers various pension, provident and retirement annuity funds and is involved in private portfolio investment. I was employed to perform an internal audit on the funds to ensure accuracy and validity of contributions received. I also performed various tax computations on income tax returns and withdrawal payments from funds.

Went on various vacation programmes that included the audit of the Masstores Group where I was involved in asset verification, debtor circularisation, various stock counts and general checks to ensure the smooth running of accounting systems.
