HERO ESCORT vehicle for Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion Riders, VietNam Vets, Disabled American Veterans, FOP, MAPES, and AmVets escorting KIA, Veteran and Law Enforcemet funerals and Fund Raisers. President of CitizensLawEnforcenmentAcademyAlumni of Douglas County doing Fund raisers, etc. for local Law enforcement. Greeter and usher at Faith Community Church-while also providing security there during Services and outdoor events. Member Paulding County & Douglas County CERT. (Community Emergency Response Team) CERT Instructor-Rescue Specialist & Red Cross Shelter Management Certified..(From Cedartown Ga.---Kellys-Hutto's & Swaffords. My father was a JUNIOR--is buried next to his father but changed the spelling of our last name to KELLY from KELLEY after WW2--interesting story) Helping to raise 113y/o Ethan (was diagnosed with NMO in Sept 12) and 9y/o Madison. There are times that I spend 4-5 days at a time in bed due to severe Service Connected headaches-and/or other Service Connected problems--but GOD IS GOOD AND IN CONTROL.

My work ethics, etc. even prohibited me from leaving the doors open and letting some of my children continue the business--don't know WHAT is wrong with kids these days??!!! Had applied for Social Security Disability THREE times but never got beyond the filing stage as I was 'still working' (guess if I were on food stamps and welfare----?????).. Once I closed Kelly Claims down-I was awarded SSD on the FIRST attempt!!!! ( FOUGHT with VA from 2000-2014 when FINALLY awarded 100% SC--had one Case that went to the BVA TWICE)

    Managed to survive seven years driving some of the worst maintained trucks on the road. One, a '61 B61 Mack--did not have a starter for the four years I drove it---roll start down hill and hoped would build up air pressure before you hit something. Same truck had flex air line under cab that would burn in two due to air compressor pumping oil. NO lock down brakes is air gave out--only mechanical handbrake. Started smelling smoke coming down Mt. Eagle-knew the airline was going--started gearing the two sticks down--hung in neutral--faster and faster--with inside winch control, dropped tandem tractor I was pulling--stopped me but ruinned EIGHT tires--heard about that for next three years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Acheived rank quickly--having to get 'time in service' and 'time in grade waivers'--then had to go to NCO Academy to be promoted to SP/5 E-5. 25 months to acheive SP/5 E5 rank was almost unheard of--was offered E-6 to re-up and stay in the Army.
