Graduated from Economics at the prestigious University of Delhi with a First Division GPA - a course that has since ignited a passion for a career in quant specific roles in the management consultancy and investment banking fields. As a Business Analyst Intern at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a Fortune 200 real estate services MNC, I’ve learned critical thinking, researching, problem solving and data visualisation skills. Collecting information and mapping out data from across the industry on competitive analysis assignments helped me understand the inner workings of what makes JLL one of the big three in its industry. I also have experience in leadership roles in multiple positions across varied fields at the university level. I was the Web Editor at DU Beat - India’s largest student run independent news media organisation - leading a team of 70 students reporting on dubeat.com and across their social media pages. I worked on brand collaborations including organising and judging the first and second ever DU's Got Talent in collaboration with Social Offline to mark the establishment of their branch in Civil Lines, Delhi. This event directly led to a footfall of over 200 for the establishment and brought in over 2 lakhs of revenue for the organisation.Additionally, I claimed 3rd position from over 800 teams across the country at SRCC's annual management consultancy case competition. This event was influential in my understanding of problem solving from a business perspective and especially, my first simulated brush with financial modelling.I was also briefly the General Secretary at the Economics Society of Shyam Lal College leading a team of 15 hosting regular events such as seminars, workshops and more to make the field of economics more accessible. My undergrad covers quantitative micro and macroeconomics, financial economics, introductory econometrics, statistics, game theory and more.At the cusp of my career, I’m looking forward to long term success in the management consultancy and financial services fields to be able to learn and grow while also utilising my skills.Speaking of skills, my time at DU Beat has ensured that you, dear reader, are reading the words of a human and not an LLM based chatbot ;).
