ResponsibilitiesDesigning and manufacturing of the suspension,brakes,wheel assembly and steering systems of two formula student race carsWork Done1) Suspension-Implementing teams first carbon fiber suspension on the combustion car thereby reducing the overall weight of the car by 5.4 Kg2) Implemented the teams first blade adjustable anti roll bar for tuning of the cornering stiffness of the car 3) Steering- Optimized the steering geometry to reduce the steering torque from over 15 Nm to less than 7 Nm4) Data acquisition- Successfully installed an Inertial measurement unit,Suspension potentiometers,Strain gauges,IR temperature sensors and pressure transducers to collect data from the car and optimize vehicle performance and handing using a data driven approach5) Aerodynamics- Modelling of external flow over the car bluff body to obtain a 3D Aero-Map of the car at different pitch,roll and heave values

Work Done1) Worked on piping stress models for the piping systems of mono ethylene glycol refining plants and Cryogenic piping using CAESAR II following the process piping code ASME B 31.32) Developed spreadsheets for selection of appropriate piping materials based on strength calculations3) Developed a plot plan for an HDPE manufacturing plant4) Worked on the structural aspects of Heat Exchangers, Reactors and Storage tanks using PV Elite and CodeCalc
