As the Master - Site Reliability and Platform Engineering at Equifax, I lead a team of engineers who are responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company's cloud-based services and applications. As Platform Engineering we run Kubernetes as a Service and Cloud Composer(airflow) as a service for entire business unit. I hold multiple certifications from Google Cloud.Responsible for running FinOPS Practice, Manage Cloud cost for whole BU and optimizing the cloud spend. Managing Cloud cost budget of $52MMy core competencies include cloud transformation, infrastructure and application automation, data encryption, workload automation, and log data analytics. I have successfully migrated legacy applications to Hadoop platform and then to Cloud, implemented enterprise-wide data encryption and workload automation solutions, and optimized the cloud infrastructure for scalability and efficiency. I have also received several awards and honors for my contributions to the company and the industry, such as the Best SRE Award, the Standing Ovation Award, and the membership of Golden Key honor society. I am passionate about learning new technologies and creating value for the organization and the customers.
