The NUALS Anti-Ragging Committee was constituted in accordance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) Guidelines. I served in the position of a Member for the academic year 2023-24, and currently hold the position in the reconstituted Committee for the academic year 2024-25.

N. I was entrusted with the drafting of writ petitions, examinations-in-chief, and other documents by way of affidavits. I also prepared legal opinions, legal questionnaires and case analyses. The internship at Singhania & Co. LLP. introduced me to the transition between the functions of a litigation firm and corporate firm.

'Thomas & Thomas Advocates' is a boutique law firm, established by Adv. Benny P. Thomas in January 2017. The Firm deals with matters predominantly relating to labour law and company law. Some of the prestigious clientele who regularly seek assistance from the Firm include Tata Group, Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), etc.During the course of my internship under the supervision of the Firm's senior associate, Adv. D. Prem Kamath, I had the opportunity to learn the basics of litigation and drafting, and could undertake legal research pertaining to live cases on matters relating to civil law, company law, mineral law, criminal law, etc. The internship at Thomas & Thomas Advocates accustomed me to the regular working of a law firm.

Consequent to the formation of the Kasaragod Revenue District, the District & Sessions Court was established in 1986. Taking up the role of a judicial intern, I had the opportunity to intern under Sri. Biju T, the Additional District & Sessions Judge. I had a chance to attend and observe the Court proceedings on a multitude of matters. I was tasked with assisting the Judge in specific subjects involving analysis of case laws. On the whole, the internship experience helped me gain insight on almost all litigation procedures, widely regarded as the basics for any student pursuing law.

Altus Disputatio is the avant-garde debating tournament patented and hosted by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi. With its one of a kind 'Devil's Cross' format, Altus Disputatio makes itself distinct from any other debate. It is being conducted to propagate an expression of novel ideas and to inculcate debating skills among students across the country and beyond.

The Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) is an autonomous institution functioning for the Local Self-Governments in Kerala. Ever since its inception in 1990, KILA has been engaged in a myriad of capacity-building interventions on local governance and decentralization. During the internship at KILA, I was tasked with preparing a comprehensive analysis report on the impact and effectiveness of the unemployment eradication programme implemented by the Government of Kerala, the Thozhil Sabha Project. This report formulation involved personal interaction with authorities and officials at multiple Local Self-Government Institutions, and the general public, thereby instilling in me the values of research and analysis, communication via official interaction and effective time management.
