As a part of the Dutch Turbulence Task Force, conducted the following main activities.1. Research active flow control techniques to achieve skin-friction drag reduction.2. Setup and validate new equipment for High Reynolds number testing in the Wind Tunnel (W-Tunnel)

In the aerodynamics department, I was involved in developing the aero package of the 2020 prototype (Formula Student Team Delft's Challenger for Formula Student Germany 2020). My job was primarily focussed on the rear wing, particularly on the louvers. This entailed the study and shape optimization of airfoils on the rear wing endplates to minimize the lift-induced drag. Besides, I was also involved in shape study of the rear wing (High-Lift Cascade system) and it's integration aimed at maximizing cornering performance and improving the aerodynamic stability of the car.A major change in technical regulations meant employing an active ground effect was possible. In the aerodynamics department, we developed a fan concept to boost the venturi effect under the car, thereby improving diffuser performance.

As an associate engineer, I was involved in the design and manufacturing of a camshaft driven high pressure pump meant for gasoline IC engines.

• Designed an air-intake manifold for a 600cc 4-cylinder IC engine that improved the peak brake torque by 14%.• Designed a Space Frame Tubular Chassis for a Formula SAE race car.• Modified a single-cylinder 220cc IC engine to implement Port Fuel Injection.• Designed a pressurised dry sump lubrication system on a 600cc 4 cylinder IC engine to lower the center of gravity.• Performed validation and data-acquisition of Powertrain and Vehicle dynamics subsystems.
