I am working to characterize the controlled rate freezing and storage of several of the cell therapy products. I have acted as PIP for the cryofreezing and storage of these products. I'm also working on generating data to support changes to the final product vessel, concentration, thaw, and infusion process.

I worked for the Quantitative Biology group in Assay Development. My primary tasks were running biochemical and cell based assays to obtain IC50 values for various kinases and inhibitors. I developed assays to determine Ki, cell permeability, and a PathHunter cell based assay.

I worked through MMB lab to study prostate cancer, specifically its impacts on macrophages and neutrophils. I also worked with Aflatoxins and their impact on liver cells to see how these mycotoxins lead to cancer and disease. I am currently working on neutrophil invasion studies for different levels of cancer progressed cells. I have learned and utilized multiple assays, such as qPCR, MagPIX, immunochemical stainings, and reverse transcription, to test for translational and metabolic changes in cell lines. I also have experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis and the use of high level microscopes for 3-D layer imaging.

Industrially cultured T cells and tested multiple culture platforms, cryofreezing profiles, and cryovials. Also developed and wrote standard operating procedures a vial labeling machine, vial quality control, and T cell production. These products and cells were then tested using the Promega assay kits with their bioluminescent technologies.
