I have a biology degree with an emphasis on microbiology, I have familiarity with lab etiquette and sterile lab techniques. I am a quick hands on learner and eager to start getting experience in the field I went to school for. At the University of San Diego, I worked alongside my Research Professor Dr. Curtis Loer in the continuous research of the function of the unc-86 gene within nematodes. Within my 3 year duration of research under his supervision, we were able to discover similarities between two nematode species. In order to find this out, I learned DNA staining techniques, DNA sequencing, and gene mapping. I have experience with using microscopes and computer programs to visualize and edit microscopic images.Outside of my research experience, I started working in home care once my grandmother's health started to decline, after her passing I wanted to still help other people who may not have a family member to help care for them, which has been a very fruitful experience in various ways.When I am not in caregiver mode, I am in front of the camera, I am currently signed with NTA talent agency based in LA and currently working on progressing in my modeling and acting career.
