Manage and lead the program team to successfully execute contracts to meet the successful execution of contracts to meet customer requirements, contract schedule, and corporate financial commitments, and various other activities as prioritized/supervised by the Director, R&D MCA Programs. Interface with all functional areas including Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, Material Management, Engineering, Quality, Test Range, and Operations to coordinate timely execution of program business. Establish milestones and ensure adherence to master plans and schedules. Serve as a key interface with customers and take responsibility for the health of the customer relationship. Develop required communications including but not limited to program status, business opportunities, scheduling, program issues, and risk mitigation. Serve as the subject matter expert in bid proposals for all products managed, ensuring that all strategic factors are fully understood and accurately costed into the proposal. Manage and present the requirements for regular program cost reporting, and other information as required, to the Munition Systems SBU leadership. Participate in the negotiation of contract awards and contract changes, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract, as required. Handle program activities, leading periodic program review sessions with customers to discuss risk, schedule, and technical performance. Respond to contract changes with timely submittals of new program plans and cost impacts. Ensure all requirements are met from contract award to contract closeout. Able to handle multiple assignments at the same time, work well under pressure, and meet assignment commitments.
