As a copywriter for Native Instruments, I was responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging copy according to the Native Instruments brand tone of voice – molding and adapting my writing style according to the audience and channel I was writing for. I created a vast range of content and marketing materials, from product pages, newsletters, Google Ads, blog articles, and more. I also produced highly engaging social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, interpreting creative direction and briefs from my managers into imaginative copy concepts.

I worked as a Music Manager for the first two years of my time at Shazam. I was responsible for collating and searching for new music, liaising with record labels and artists, and adding catalogs and new releases to the Shazam database. I also managed Shazam's social channels. In the eight-month period that I managed Shazam's Twitter account, I added around 80,000 followers to their profile.I then moved on to the editorial team, contributing and writing music news stories for the in-app 'News Feed' feature. I wrote clear, concise, and clickable content that reached millions of users worldwide. I managed the editorial partnership with Apple - curating Shazam's Apple Music profile and helping promote Apple's content via the News Feed. I was a figurehead in the partnership with the iTunes Festival. In four months we pushed over 3.8 million clicks to the iTunes Festival homepage, with nearly 50% of those clicks contributed by my work via the news feed.As part of my role, I was also responsible for interviewing A-List musicians and artists, helping deliver world-class video content. I also assisted on live session video shoots alongside our production team.
