"Be who you were created to be and you will set the world on fire." -St. Catherine of SiennaI'm a sassy brunette in my mid thirties, with a passion for supporting women, babies, and families, especially when it comes to maternity care and childbirth. I'm the mother of three wild and beautiful children ages fifteen, seven, and four. Since the birth of my first child in 2008, I have completed CAPPA Labor Doula Distance Training, a Waterbirth Certification Workshop through Waterbirth International, certified as a Birth Boot Camp Instructor, and have attended a cultural competency workshop through Bastyr University. I've attended numerous local community events surrounding childbirth, breastfeeding and beyond. In 2019 I joined Birthingway College of Midwifery in Portland as a Board Member. I previously served as the State Director for Oregon, Washington and Alaska for Your Whole Baby. I have attended births as a doula in the hospital, birthing center, and home environments. I have experience with full term and tandem breastfeeding, babywearing, cloth diapering and more. Most recently, in March 2023 I became a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. In addition to birth work, I enjoying spending time with my family, hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, crocheting or other creative projects, and catching up on my latest Netflix find. I also like trying new places. I am currently serving families in Woodburn, Oregon, though my services stretch from the North Willamette Valley to the Greater Portland Metro Area.
