This role encompasses a blend of program management, report writing, and laboratory activities. In addition, my role includes oversight of departmental equipment.

Engaged in clinical research focusing on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and a concurrent sleep study. Directed the clinical operations of the study, encompassing the acquisition of spirometry data, as well as the procurement and processing of blood samples.

Led a project aimed at designing and constructing a bioreactor system tailored for osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. This MSc thesis project received funding from the Icelandic Centre for Research, Innovation, Education, and Culture in Iceland, running concurrently with several other active projects.
