Gobinath "SiGo" Sivarajah’s passion for Mathematics has been a guiding force since childhood. However, his growing interest in Statistics led him to pursue a career as a lecturer after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Jaffna. As a dedicated athlete with national-level achievements in Athletics and Field Hockey, his love for sports naturally shaped his professional path.He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Global Sport Management from Seoul National University, where his thesis on the innovative "Win-SERVQUAL" model for Winter Mega Games earned the prestigious Best Thesis Award and completed his internship at the World Taekwondo. Currently, SiGo plays a key role at the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka as the Marketing and Media Manager, National Course Director, IOC-certified Safeguarding Officer, and Single-Point-of-Contact for the Prevention of Manipulation of Competitions. He also manages the world’s No. 1 Netball player, Tharjini Sivalingam.Now pursuing a Postgraduate Programme in International Sports Diplomacy at the Hungarian University of Sports Science, SiGo continues to blend his expertise in both Sports and Statistics. His ultimate goal is to work for the International Olympic Committee while pursuing a PhD, striving to deepen his contributions to the global sports landscape.
