PIMS worked with private sector players and market actors, "Lead Firms" in Somaliland, Puntland and South-Central Somalia, employing a market systems development approach to stimulate inclusive economic growth, targeting sustainable improvements in market outcomes by altering the incentives that the market as a system provides to participants. The programme supported private entities to leverage private sector finance in the tune of GBP 14 million, 50,000+ Smllaholders increased their net attributable incomes by GBP 28 million & also catalysed the creation of 12, 650 FTE Jobs. Under my leadership, I developed the programme's ToC, Log Frame and DCED compliant MRM Framework alongside the intervention results chains. I also led outcome harvesting missions and annual impact data collection using mobile-based technologies.The robust monitoring systems used enabled the program to score consecutive A, A+, A+ ratings in the 2016/2017/2018 DFID Annual Reviews & the system was rated the best among DFID programmes in Somalia -
