In this role, it is necessary to ensure coordination with the various activities of the Saint-Gobain universe in the geographic area of Spain, Portugal and Morocco, in close connection with the central team in France.The objective is to guarantee, at all times, compliance with the Company's regulatory requirements, ensuring improvement and evolution through the application of best practices, as well as the development of a Business Continuity Plan in each of the facilities.In the technical scope, all circumstances that may impact an activity are addressed, such as fires, product spills, floods and other natural risks, technological risks, working on preventive measures, both at the technical and physical level, as well as at the level of human resources. and its training.

Mission:Ensure the application of the Saint-Gobain principles of Environment, Health and Safety, the current legislation and the specific procedures of the S-G Group within S-G Portugal sites, in order to create a safe and healthy work place, and environmentally friendly.Evaluate the industrial processes and equipments that can present an Industrial Risk, promoting the implementation of the best practices in order to protect the business and its facilities, coordinating the development of a Business Continuity Plan.Tasks:- Manage the EHS team (5 people) in 4 industrial sites;- Develop and follow EHS strategy and action plan;- Define and follow-up of the EHS Budget and Capital Expenditure;- Define EHS objectives and control the EHS KPI;- Assess Industrial Risks (Loss Prevention), searching, developing and implementing preventive measures;- Promote and organize awareness-raising, training or advice on EHS issues;- Develop and maintain the ISO 45001; ISO 14000 and ISO 9001 managing systems (certified);- Perform external and internal EHS audits;- Analyse and apply existing legislation on EHS as well as the procedures and methodologies of Saint-Gobain;- Control emissions / discharges from the production sites, establishing action plans, procedures or designing better tools for the effective management of waste;- Supervise and validate the EHS risk assessments; - Participate and supervise the EHS Committees;- Establish procedures for hiring external companies;- Validate the adequacy of CPE and PPE;- Management of chemicals (MSDS);- Coordinate the occupational health service and accident insurance company.
