Promoted to Staff Consulting Architect supporting our customers within VMware End User Computing in PSO Globals team. I work with some of the largest VMware accounts within our Horizon EUC space and helping customers in their journey to hybrid adoption of both On-Prem and with extensive experience in AWS, Azure, and AVS for our Horizon solution stack. I also help customers with custom development around automation to further support their modernization of day 2 operational tooling, business processes, and operation of platforms as a service with focus on end user experience and capabilities.

I am a consulting architect in the VMware End User Computing (EUC) division, primarily focused on design, implementation, and troubleshooting services for our customers. I cover the entire United States and abroad. I also contribute documentation developed during customer engagements which become best practice documentation or service kit offerings to partners which are public facing. I work predominantly with vSphere 5.x and Horizon View 5.x based environments, but also cover ThinApp, vCenter Operations (and for View) as well as Horizon Workspace. I also provide leadership and mentoring for our professional services organization consultants and senior consultants and in general full assistance to ensure our engagements are running to a very high standard.

I am a senior consultant covering our broad solution set of virtualization products for all the major verticals. I mainly cover the central region of the US and have a focus on desktop virtualization. Other aspects of products I cover include Health Assessments, Cisco Nexus 1000V, VI3, vSphere 4.x/5, Lab Manager 3/4.x, VIEW 3/4.x/5, and ThinApp 4.x. General areas of knowledge also include networking, storage, server based computing, network edge appliances, virtual appliances, and processes involved in managing and maintaining these environments.

I provide professional consulting for our system integration group. I perform on-site installations of many different products from vendors such as Fortinet, Secure Computing, Sonicwall, VMware, Radware, and Bluecoat. I have performed many deployments and advanced configurations with VMware VI2.5 - 4.1, VDI/VIEW, Lab Manager 3/4, Capacity Planner Virtualization Assessments, P2V conversions utilizing Converter, PlateSpin PowerConvert, and custom methods. I also have an extensive networking history with products in Cisco routers and switches and gateway appliances such as firewalls, content filters, cache appliances, load balancers, and email appliances.

I worked as a linux systems administrator overseeing a server farm of roughly 500 servers for our co-location company. We performed many different tasks requested by our customers including upgrade, maintenance, troubleshooting and remediation. We covered many different linux distributions, but also practiced datacenter standardizations whenever possible. I also monitored the physical network of our datacenter and modified as necessary and troubleshooted when there were issues.
