LinkedIn’s Economic Graph team partners with world leaders to analyze labor markets and recommend policy solutions to prepare the global workforce for the jobs of the future.My focus is Gender Research. We aim to challenge gender bias in the workplace by advancing the world’s understanding of existing, and projected, inequity. I connect with Policy Partners, Editors, Journalists to identify and amplify interesting research questions that can be answered through LinkedIn data. I then scope the projects with the help of the talented data scientists and economists in the team, so that our models and data pipelines can be accurate, scalable, and reliable.

Led the gender research direction in the team, coordinating global research and execution plans for 15+ markets. This resulted in 20+ thought leadership pieces, such as white papers, working papers, blogposts. My insights were published in over 250 top tier media outlets globally, such as BBC, Forbes, CNN, and presented to key policy stakeholders in Davos, the G20, the White House, UN General Assembly and more.Led the collaboration with the World Economic Forum and produced the LinkedIn insights featured in the Global Gender Gap Report 2022 and 2023. The findings spanned statistical analysis and causal inference to determine the barriers and biases around women in leadership and in STEM. Developed a framework to quantify the impact of skills-first hiring in talent pipelines. The findings were showcased through the skills-first report, and shared by executives across the world (Axios, Fortune, Forbes, WEF), including as part of a testimony to US congress.Built data pipelines to scale analysis, automate, and democratise partners' access to data, using Trino SQL, Spark, and Python, reducing DS time at execution time.

Develop state-of-the-art time series forecasting algorithms to support client projects and product development in the supply chain industry. As the data science lead in the customer success team, I design and deliver POC projects from data collection, insights generation, ML prediction and visualization. More than 70% of my demos so far led to progress in the sales pipeline.My modeling is usually done in Python (with pandas, statsmodels and scikit-learn being the packages I use the most), then I perform further manipulation in our Clickhouse database and use Apache Superset to create interactive dashboards to visualize the results.I led the data science efforts and client conversations in a project with a top FMCG company, delivering a 10% improvement on their best in class accuracy.I directly supervised three interns and a junior data scientist, and I routinely collaborate with the engineering, design and client success managers to strategise and execute solutions that are not only technically sound and scalable, but also address the most salient business needs.
