As an undergraduate teaching fellow, I work with professors and take on a variety of classroom responsibilities, including communication between professors, students, and and other sections of the class, mentoring students, organizing classes and assignments, organizing field trips and transportation, and student support.In Spring of 2017, I worked with USU Honor's Think Tank course, which combined three disciplines (Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science) to investigate sustainability in agriculture, with emphasis on local systems. I balanced communication between professors and students of all three sections and helped organize events throughout the year, including field trips and research presentations to the public. I enjoyed working with the students and professors, and was awarded the Undergraduate Teaching Fellow of the Year award for 2016-2107.During Fall 2017, I will work with one professor and honors class that fills the general science requirement for honors students.
