I am a people-first, holistic program director who excels at execution while fostering an inclusive work environment and culture. I've honed these skills across my experiences in leadership training, facilitation, and content development in a non-profit faith-based organization for 14 years. I am passionate about diversity, inclusion, and equity, particularly in advancing women of color. I lead with these values with a bias toward action and learning, co-creating spaces for and with women of color (WOC) to heal and thrive on delivering more equitable results. My career pivot into economic justice is a desire to create onramps for more WOC to access financial information and capital as research proves a wealth disparity among historically marginalized communities. My career interests include helping women of color pursue wealth justice and have launched my business, Sojourn Together, where we reclaim a historic practice called rotating savings and credit associations (ROSCA), a community savings model, that will help people access the power that already exists within them.I’m on a mission to close the cultural and gender financial knowledge gap and am in the process of designing a communal financial education program paired with a community savings platform to empower Gen Z and millennial Asian American women's financial journey together. The hope is to use the communal savings platform to build support and accountability, and while strategizing our giving and investing possibilities through our communal savings model.
