As a researcher in the best Latin American institution, CONICET, and educator with a Ph.D., I've dedicated years to unraveling complex questions and driving innovative thought in academia in the areas of animal law and animal ethics as a researcher and educator with a PhD I'm redirecting that same curiosity and commitment to the dynamic fields of digital rights and artificial intelligence.My academic journey has taken me from university classrooms to international research centers and programs, where I've enriched my career and connected with international researchers working on related topics. I also won international fellowships that allowed me to explore neglected areas, such as intensive animal farming in Argentina. I've authored/co-authored significant publications, served as an Amicus curiae, and been interviewed multiple times as an expert in my field. One of my strengths is my ability to leverage my expertise in social media to engage and educate a broader audience. I manage an Instagram account (@eticaanimal) with over eleven thousand followers, which I use to share insights, promote informed deliberation on animal ethics and rights, and engage in impactful conversations. This experience has honed my skills in communicating complex ideas in accessible ways and building a community.I am expanding my research horizons as a special counsel in digital rights and AI by working in White Label Consultancy. My role is to bring the company's experience and expertise into the AI4Gov EU-funded project on the intersection of AI, privacy rights, and democracy, exploring the intersection of technology, law, and ethics. This work enables me to merge my analytical expertise with a passion for understanding and shaping the future of digital governance and human rights and, to expand my research interests toward the impact of AI on animal rights.I bring a unique blend of rigorous academic training, public advocacy, social media savvy, and a passion for technology's potential to create a fairer interspecies society by maintaining a cautious vision: not over-optimistic but neither endorsing a catastrophic idea of the future.
