Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, I was responsible for the content and social media management at the second biggest music promoter within the country. I managed digital accounts and communication channels, while assisting with copywriting and PR duties. In addition, I got to work directly with brands like Spotify and Heineken, producing a varied range of events and designing the marketing strategy in order to enhance and tie up our digital presence.

I contributed to the Barcelona-based Music and Lifestyle websites Indiespot (www.indiespot.es) and IndieGentes (www.indiegente.es) with covering of events, gigs, interviews, as well as photo and video pieces.

As part of the Communications team, I was responsible for looking after the Corporate Communications and exposure of the El Corte Inglés brand in the media nationwide. I was part of the digital marketing team of the Nova Music & Arts festival in the UK. My responsibilities involved managing social media and contents for the company blog and website, as well as assisting on marketing (analytics, research, data...) and press tasks. That included dealing with partners and sponsors of the festival, along with executing all live coverage on site.

During my work placement at The Observer news desk, I assisted the editor and chief reporters with pitching and content sourcing. My main tasks included research, edition, translation and proof-reading before the final copy of the print edition. I also got to work on two main stories along with senior journalists from the Guardian & The Observer pages.
