As a doctoral student in mechanical engineering (applied mechanics) at Polytechnique Montréal, due to graduate in September, I have acquired in-depth expertise in the modeling of dynamic vibratory systems, and the use of sophisticated numerical methods to solve them. I also have experience in probabilistic approaches as well as in machine learning. Also, I have focused my research on model order reduction techniques to create solvers that give fast and accurate results. During my undergraduate studies, I learned the basics of mechanical, electrical and computer engineering, focusing on robotics, sensors, actuators, control and automation. In addition, my master's thesis presented a study of methods to reduce unwanted vibrations.Thanks to this diversified experience, I have successfully participated in multidisciplinary research teams in five different countries (Palestine, Jordan, France, USA and Canada), which has enabled me to acquire valuable skills in teamwork, problem-solving and communication that I'm eager to apply in a professional environment.
