CurrentAchievements1.Worked on Wet-on-wet primer for OEM based on EpoxyChemistry with 500Hr of SST at 50micron which can be used in air-drying as well as baking systems, stabilized on site and delivered over 8KL till date2.Developed an Epoxy based coating cured with polyamide which can be used for electrostatic spray applications and can adhere well on Aluminium substrate, commercialized and stabilized onsite3.Developed a Fast-drying High Gloss Chain-Stop Alkyd based coating which is compatible for electrostatic Spray.4.Worked on Acrylic and Alkyd based Polyols with differenthydroxyl values cured with both Aliphatic and aromaticisocyanates.4.Developed acrylic polyol-based polyurethane with 1000 Hr of QUVA which is ROHS compliant5.Worked extensively on understanding the behavior of different epoxies with different curing agents and their impact on drying, salt spray, adhesion over different substrate.6.Successfully commercialized a low Volume Solid quick drying Chain-Stop Alkyd (Soya Oil Based) DTM providing 300Hrs of SST @ 100-micron DFT7. Can provide quick service in matching shades, also haveexperience in matching shades for OEM and developing new Chrome-free shades8. Can individually develop new formulations for Alkyd, PU & Epoxy including hardener and drier calculation and otherimportant parameters such as PVCs, NVM and Volume Solids as per requirements9. Development of Heat Resisting aluminium coatings developed with leafing aluminium and silicon modified epoxy for heat resistant upto 400°C10. Development of surface tolerant epoxy which was made for substrate where complete surface preparation can’t be done which consisted of Non-Leafing Aluminium and can with stand upto 750Hr of SST11. Handled Plant Batches of over 50KL12. Solved site issues during paint application including dry spray, cissing, pinholes, orange peel.13. Conducted successful trials of new products at 3 sites
