• Managed and assessed rollover stability for high profile vehicle architectures and regularly presented results to chief engineer and vehicle teams.• Developed and executed vehicle test matrix for center of gravity, maximum lateral acceleration, fishhook, and side pull testing, and used analytical tools to reduce hardware testing.• Utilized analysis tools and hardware tests to predict and measure rollover stability of GM vehicles.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Implemented National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s new dynamic rollover testing at GM.• Developed analytical smooth road shake model and recommended design improvements to small truck program team.• Project Lead Design for Six Sigma team that designed analytical vehicle center of gravity prediction tool. • Responsible for noise pass-by, backpressure, dust, snow, and water intrusion testing for exhaust and induction systems on commercial and medium duty vehicles. • Interfaced extensively with induction and exhaust system suppliers, release engineers, and powertrain application engineers to meet noise pass-by and backpressure system requirements.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Developed exhaust and induction system to meet federal noise requirements enabling salable vehicles.• Generated test plans and analyzed noise pass-by data to root cause problem frequencies for federal noise requirements.
