Collaborate with political, cultural, and comms to host deliberate events that are niched to the communities in attendance. After recruiting 45 at-risk youth (ages 16-24) seeking gainful employment or education, building a consistent form of engagement was crucial to keep them invested in the program. After recruiting 45 at-risk youth (ages 16-24) seeking gainful employment or education, building a consistent form of engagement was crucial to keep them invested in the program. This form of engagement would commence with providing the students with resume building skills plus enrollment within a career source website, which operated as a daily virtual job fair. Following the enrollment, each youth would need weekly follow-ups to encourage patience through this process, at times struggling with accessibility or knowledge of technological resources, and other instances the youths may require tutoring to get their GED. Each time the career coach and youth would interact an OAG form needed to be filled out. Eventually, once they get an interview we increase the number of engagements to two times a week to ensure they were properly prepared to enter this new role. Show less

Develop a GOTV program with intentional outreach to our marginalized black and brown communities to expand the electorate in Orlando, and Tampa by focusing on areas with high black voter turnout in previous elections. Working directly with the CEOs of the local affiliate chapters to manage the budget of the national grants distributed to each affiliate to optimize black voter outreach in their areas. Working directly with the CEOs of the local affiliate chapters to manage the budget of the national grants distributed to each affiliate to optimize black voter outreach in their areas. Through a collaboration with multiple churches, and other local organizations weekends of Souls to the Polls events in Central Florida, and Pinellas County adding over 500 volunteers and 63 volunteer leaders ready to engage their communities through their local affiliate's weekly virtual phonebanks leading up to the election. This position continued into the Georgia Runoff elections with the intention to make a robust and inclusive voter block to push for early vote activation. Through barbershop/ beauty salon talks, zoom webinars, no contact canvassing, and weekly phonebanks the team was able to reach out to a total of 64,072 Georgians to ensure they made a plan to vote. Cut the turfs in Orange and Seminole County to evenly distribute the number of likely democrats in the 14 turfs. Create ambitious goals that are proportionate to the difficulty of turf to allow for a sustainable workload that won't result in organizer burnout. Create ambitious goals that are proportionate to the difficulty of turf to allow for a sustainable workload that won't result in organizer burnout. Hire, onboard, and train these organizers to hit the ground running and conquer those ambitious metrics by their second week on the ground in a socially distanced world due to COVID-19. Regionwide, we would run multiple virtual community events and phonebanks where the organizers in my region brought 70+ recurring volunteers each week to attend. At the same time, the organizers were responsible for maintaining weekly goals of 70 virtual 1:1s, calling through 9800 MyC calls and gathering volunteers to make 2800 MyV calls as an entire region, all online, while never leaving their home due to "stay at home" safety precautions. Developing 6 staging locations and the appropriate volunteer capacity to conduct two weekends of action, and a GOTV canvass. Over these 3 weekends, and the Monday prior to the election day in Florida the 6 staging locations presented us 747 canvass shifts with over 30,000 doors knocked and 377 phone bank shifts.

Manage a petition drive to get Medicaid Expansion on the ballot in Missouri. Analyze and develop turf strategically to focus on allocating resources to congressional districts that were lacking the signatures needed. Hired, and trained an average of 4 new canvassers a day, and launched an average of 15 consistent, existing canvassers alongside of them, putting our office at approximately 850 signatures a day.
