Carry out inspections of the airfield to include pavement surface , lighting ,stand furniture, environmental compliance and adverse weather conditions checks in accordance with the requirements of the aerodrome licence, CAP168, CAP642 and ISO14001.Carry out bird hazard management using data recording, scarecrow bird dispersal tool, pyrotechnics and lethal control measures to minimise the risk of bird strike and compliance with CAP772.Provide marshaller and follow me assistance during works in progress, airfield incident, adverse weather and stand guidance equipment failure. Promote a high standard of airfield discipline as published in GADS, AANs and airfield Byelaws through use of the Airfield caution notice issue, SL700 speed camera, and illegally parked equipment protocol.To provide rapid, effective response, coordinate and control resources and record information during emergency incidents, adverse weather operations, environmental incident and unscheduled aircraft movements.Deploy Northern runway and low viz safeguarding.Supervise third party works in progress and operations, liaison with ATC and stand planning to minimise disruption, set up and safety compliance and completed works quality inspection. Carry out inspections of stakeholder airfield operations in adherence to Health and Safety at work act 1974 and CAP642 through use of Turnaround Audit and jetty operator audit inspections.Carry out friction readings on the runway during adverse weather and also for engineering purposes.Supervise third party volunteers during winter operations ensuring safe and effective operation of snow clearing equipmentComplete airside safety investigation reports through the use of PRIME reporting tool on Near miss incidents, environmental spillage , RTC, personnel injury and aircraft damage.
