I have been an investment professional for over 35 years in a variety of roles that have included an analyst producing published company research, a fund manager managing a life and pension plus two unit trusts, and head of an investment team covering the FTSE250. Latterly I was one of the founders of Parmenion building the AUM from nil to over £9 billion by the time I retired.Whilst at Parmenion I devised the investment research template for the qualitative analysis of funds and built a quantitative screening process to analyse asset class universes in order to seek funds for inclusion in the model portfolios. In addition I led the Tactical Asset Allocation committee which used my valuation and momentum screen to rank asset classes in terms of their attractiveness.Part of my role was to attend the investment committees of client companies and help the Regional Sales Managers in the marketing of Parmenions services.I am now seekng NED and investment committee roles where I can add value using the skills and experience from all of the above.
