• Integral part of the Senior Management team, liaising with the CEO, Managing Director and other shareholders on a daily basis• Provide leadership and guidance to the Finance/Customer Service teams comprising 4 people• Delivery of monthly p&l, commentary and balance sheet with a monthly Management meeting to present the results to the CEO, Managing Director and Production Manager• Lead annual budget and quarterly forecasting• Working capital management and cash flow forecasting• Manage day-to-day relationships with banks, auditors, HMRC, shareholders etc• Lead a software project implementation of Sage 200 into the Group company in Malaysia, involving three visits to their site in Kuala Lumpur in 2014/15• Lead the change of ERP system support provider in order to gain a better service level for the business to benefit from more advanced report writing/bespoke work• Implementing a change to the costing methodology in the ERP system to standard costing in order to provide Management with a more accurate/timely method of stock valuationKey achievements• The successful, complete delivery from start to finish of the ERP implementation project to the Group company in Malaysia. This involved an initial visit to discover exactly how each role worked and what processes were utilised. The second visit was purely designed for training a number of key employees on all areas of their new system before Go Live. The third and final visit was for us to ensure the Go Live went smoothly and with no delay in customer ordering/delivery.

As the Plant Controller and number one in Finance at Federal Mogul Bradford, I was an integral part of the Senior Management Team and enabled the fast-paced manufacturing of Piston Pins to be done, whilst under strict matrix reporting/delivery to a Treasury Unit in Manchester and the European Finance base in Frankfurt.• Plant Controller of whole Bradford site, with 2 main divisions, Pin and Traded• Member of Senior Management Team and managed Finance/Goods Inwards departments• Production of monthly accounts for 2 main divisions, loaded into Hyperion on working day 3 with bridging gap/variance analysis produced for Group presentation by working day 6• Working capital management and cash flow forecasting• Liaise with all levels of Management, including Vice Presidents and Senior VP’s• Manage 2 annual stock counts, for Pin and Traded businesses• Successful completion of Group internal audit in May 2011• Completion of annual tax and year end packs• Liaise and co-ordinate annual external audit• Supervise production of annual Sarbanes Oxley Finance procedures and walk-throughs • Production of new standard costing rates for inventory• Set up new Goods Inwards processes involving the recruitment of personnel in order to facilitate the new procedures• Daily sales/production reporting to Senior Management team• Weekly sales reporting to Group• Matrix organisation reporting – involving Group (in U.S.), Group Finance (Germany) and Treasury (Manchester)

• Production of Group consolidated monthly accounts, incorporating 4 overseas divisions and 4 UK divisions• Management of Group cash flow, liaising with the CEO, Group FD and divisional FD. Also, regular communications with the bank which involve regular forecasts• Production of 4 sets of management accounts – for PLC, Properties, 600 Centre and Parat• Daily cash flow reporting to divisional FD for all UK sites, detailing all receipts/payments in all bank accounts within the UK• Monthly Group VAT returns• Recently helped with the transfer of the 600 Centre (Loughborough) and Parat Werkzeugmaschinen divisions (Stuttgart, Germany) into the Heckmondwike site, centralising the Finance functions• Produced year end packs for 4 divisions of 600 Group as well as half year packs. Helped to produce the statutory accounts for the Group• Monthly cost of sales reconciliation work for 600 UK• Aided the new upgrade to the Pyramid software system at HeckmondwikeKey achievements• Had to spend many weeks at each site, including Parat Werkzeugmaschinen (Stuttgart) and Electrox (Letchworth) producing Management Accounts to cover these roles once the Finance Directors had left each site.• Centralised the UK Finance function back in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire – this meant spending time at each UK site to understand their processes in order to consolidate the Finance function which I lead from start to completion

• Weekly pharmacy management accounts preparation• Prepared annual overhead budget for 367 stores• Co-ordinated annual and periodic stock takes in stores • Profit and loss account preparation for all storesKey achievements• Produced various cyclical counts in each main area of all of the 367 stores, along with a full commentary of the results of each stock count – this was sent to the Financial Director which was internally commended by the FD at the time.
