I started out training to be an agricultural engineer before moving into the plant hire sector where I went from on the tools to hire controller/technician and floating assistant depot manager.Between positions in the hire industry I had my own business in property and garden maintenance working for private estates and individuals.I have now been working, for the past 20 years, in the public sector, initially as a caretaker for 60 units of temporary accommodation before moving into housing management as an estates warden and most recently moving into the property services team as a maintenance inspector, contracts officer and now climate change and assets surveyor.These roles have led me into project and contract management along with my outside interests which involve events management and planning. All of which allow my continuous personal development and expansion of my knowledge base.
