Bluesky Certification is a UKAS accredited body (No 9413) which provides certification of doors, windows, glass and fire resistant products for manufacturers, installers and maintainers.

2010 to present - Business Development Manager (member of the Senior Management Team) My role within the BM TRADA Group as BDM was to work with marketing to research and develop commercially viable new services and launch them onto market, obtaining UKAS accreditation where applicable. Once established and following any appropriate refinements, l then handed over the service to the relevant business unit. Services developed and taken to market include certification for fire door and fire stopping installation and maintenance, CE Marking for fire doors, a DCLG approved Competent Person Scheme, acoustic ratings for windows, installation scheme for windows and doors, training programs (including an on-line training facility) and development of a web-based database to allow customers to register and manage their activities, both through an on-line webpage or through iPhone and android apps. 2008 – 2010 – Business Development and Sales Manager Responsible for leading the sales team, implementing new services and developing and implementing the sales strategy for existing services. 2000 2008 - Product Certification Manager – Doors and Windows Responsible for developing and then operating certification schemes and testing services for doors, windows, glass and fire resistant products. This role included designing the certification requirements, consulting with the industry, recommending the marketing / sales strategy, setting up and operating the service, including dealing with all technical and operational requirements.
