We are Simon Benbow and Sue Williamson, two highly qualified independent financial advisers, and our business is Always Independent Financial Solutions Ltd. Between us we have over 40 years experience in financial services. We have both had successful careers with large financial institutions where our success came from our passion for putting our clients’ needs before anything else. Having worked together for one of these financial institutions we soon recognised our shared philosophy for relationship led financial planning and as the financial crisis loomed we became increasingly concerned about the direction that the large financial institutions were taking. In particular we saw the needs of the institutions being put well ahead of those of their clients. Not wanting to compromise our long term beliefs, we decided to remove the large institutions from the relationship that we had with our clients and so in 2007 Always Independent Financial Solutions was established.
