Simon project managed and design managed a component of the staging design for the RMS designed 1.6km road and bridge crossing at Termeil. BG&E’s scope was to assess the proposed staging design and add in a conforming Traffic Control Signal (TCS) for the duration of the bridge construction. The time frame was very tight as construction was due to start in January. The TCS design was a critical factor in ensuring the proposed staging design was functional, without it the staging would not work and the RMS would have to reassess how to construct the project.Simon successfully delivered the project on time, on budget and was recognised by the RMS project manager Matthew Dawson with this feedback: “Thanks again for your work on this project. Although only small in scope, I feel that BG+E have delivered high quality work within some rather tight timeframes which is very much appreciated to allow progression on the project for RMS.” Show less
