I am a qualified actuary and economist with over 25 years of experience in social security policy, financing and reform issues. I am Chief Technical Adviser at the ILO in Bangkok and as Head of the Regional Actuarial Services at the ILO in Bangkok, I manage projects in 8 countries in the region on actuarial, financing, investment and policy issues. These projects provide technical support to strengthen social protection and capacity building activities to develop competencies within social security institutions in the region.I previously worked at the International Social Security Association and was responsible for research, policy analysis, investment and actuarial issues and prior to that for different consultancies in the UK and Switzerland working with governments on social security reform and advising corporates on a range of employee benefit & human capital issues.
