After teaching music technology for 10 years and working as a freelance events technician specialising in sound for live and corporate events throughout London, I eventually took a permanent position as Sound Department Supervisor working at AVC Live which I did for 7 years.AVC amalgamated with a number of other companies to become Encore and soon afterwards I was promoted to the position of warehouse supervisor for the Uxbridge HQ.I fulfilled this role for nearly 2 years, improving departments and streamlining processes, even travelling to Paris to help the Encore warehouse there, until finally taking a new job as warehouse manager for another AV company - All Safe and Sound.At All Safe and Sound I have increased my knowledge of equipment across all disciplines, worked on improving the direction and organisation of the warehouse, and found a place where I can help and enjoy seeing others also learn and develop their roles.
