Care Quality Officer
CurrentAs a care quality officer working in both the office and in the community my main duties include: • Carry out investigations into complaints and safeguarding issues and ensure actions are followed through• To ensure Health and Safety Legislation is adhered to at all times• Client assessments and all relevant administration including informing care manager of any updates of needs to maintain a well-led and self-centred approach in all the clients care plans • Monitor compliance to ensure that all Service User and employee files are maintained and updated as required and ensure actions are carried through• Mentoring staff with caring for the clients and upholding policies and procedures• Undertaking Quality Audits through implementation of quality control procedures and processes to ensure the office achieves the required level of compliance at all times• Complete all clients risk assessments and E-Mar according to our protocol and ensuring all our clients have a copy on Pass system• Role model encouraging staff to upkeep a positive and high standard of care• Liaise with other health care professionals• Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all health professionals and staff when discussing all clients and personal information• Assist with the on call out of hours’ service on a rota basis to ensure compliance to all our clients and obtain a high standard of care.• Working alongside team co-ordinator to increase and decrease care packages where required using web roster• Ensure a professional manner and approach in the office, undertaking any duties as required to ensure continuity and quality of care.I work co-operatively and effectively with the office staff, care staff in the community, participating in and arranging office meetings, supervisions, mentoring, spot checks and appraisals if required.
