Led in the development of audit strategies, framework, work processes, and the operationalisation of the Operational Safety Branch. Led numerous safety audits for major operations and exercises in the RSN. Experienced in accident investigations, analysis of safety performance trends as well as incident findings to determine the root causes, and assess strategic risks to the organisation. These findings were developed into safety strategies, policies, processes, procedures, and training materials (safety) for the RSN.

• Led a 42-staff crew to numerous successful deployments and achieved Unit Excellence and RSN Unit Safety awards (4 Years Accident-free) in 2016, and Best Gun Award in 2017.• Contributed in the Search & Locate (SAL) efforts, and led in the escort operations of the USS John S. McCain.• Led in the development and execution of the Squadron Warfare Officer’s Training Roadmap and Syllabus.• Led the Security Team in the conduct of security audits and inspections on all ships in the Squadron.• Sub-committee Chairman of the 50th Navy Day Celebrations Spectator Management, Carparks and Traffic Control (SMCT). Successfully strategized and led a team approx. 100 personnel that managed over 4000 guests and participants with Prime Minister as the Guest-of-Honour.

RSN Facebook rose to become the top 10 government page in 2014 and achieved 100k fans within 2 years.• Led in the INFOSEC/OPSEC efforts in key SAF/RSN events and initiatives such as (1) Navy Open House 2013 and 3 Navy@Vivo events, (2) 2 National Day Parades and SAF Day Parades, and (3) a year-long SAF50 campaign, including the development of SAF50 Commemorative Book. • Led in the development and execution of communications efforts aboard MV Swift Rescue for the search operations for Air Asia Flight QZ8501 in 2014 as the Media Relations Officer (MRO).• Strategized and executed the media plan (Live telecast onboard RSN Ships) for the RSN Ceremonial Sail-past for Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s funeral procession in 2015.• Pitched and facilitated corporate communications projects such as feature of the RSN Specialised Marine Craft (SMC) in 2014 and the production of Ah Boys to Men 3: The Frogmen movie in 2015.

• Assumed Executive Officer (Second-in-command) of the patrol vessel and achieved Squadron Best Unit Award in 2012/2013.• Strategized and executed the Indo-Singapore Coordinated Patrol (ISCP) 20th Anniversary Commemorative Sea Exercise in 2012, involving more than 400 participants and various assets from land, sea and air from both Indonesia and Singapore. • Led in the strategizing and execution of the Inaugural Western Pacific Symposium Multilateral Sea Exercise (4th WMSX) in Singapore Strait, involving more than 800 participants and 10 warships from 10 nations in 2013.
