I am a versatile, skilled toolmaker. I have over 30 years experience in engineering and manufacturing and work with proven attention to detail. You will find me to be trustworthy, honest and reliable.  I am an easygoing person who works well within a team and is able to manage others well. I have vast experience in manufacturing and the design of components, within aerospace and machine tool industry. I have experience of working within an AS 9100 Rev C quality management system. You will also find me to have valuable experience with an array of machines, from milling to turning machines. Further to this I have the skills to write and prove programs, in software such as FEATURECAM and experience of FANUC and CT operating systems.I am currently helping to plan and manage the work going through the busy workshop also Training and mentoring 2 apprentices .Training certification for OneCnc CADCAM Training certification for XYZ PROGRAMING Responsibilities of the job include:Planning and organising production schedulesProcess ImprovementAssessing project and resource requirementsEnsuring that health and safety regulations are metOverseeing production processesRe-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessarySelecting, ordering and purchasing materialsOrganising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipmentLiaising with buyers.Responsible for production and despatch .A mantra I live by, is to learn from every experience, because there is always room to improve; both personally and professionally.
